History
The Adelphean Society was founded on May 15, 1851 at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia. As the first secret society, we have coined the phrase “first, finest, forever.” Later our name changed to Alpha Delta Pi and became recognized as a Panhellenic sorority.
In 1958, the Delta Theta chapter found our home on Valdosta State’s campus. Delta Theta was the first Panhellenic sorority at VSU. This was the fourth chapter of Alpha Delta Pi installed in the state of Georgia. We are so excited how Delta Theta will grow and prosper in many years to come here in Valdosta!
